Does anyone know anything about foam insulation that is pumped between your interior and exterior walls?

They do this by drilling holes in between each stud along your exterior wall. They say it insulates well, and creates a good noise barrier. Has anyone ever done this with their house, or know of someone who has? Does this really work? Thanks.
This stuff is very bad news, it creates a vapor barrier that prevents your house from breathing humidity outward. The sound-deadening is great, but you’ll pay in mold, mildew, and failed paint. I thought that sprayon barrier was illegal under Standard Building Code.
How do you remove spray foam insulation stains?

I did it when I built a sound recording studio in my house. It worked very well isolating the room from all noises both in the house and outside the house.

yes i do . i dont like the stuff……. period however heres the pros and cons……
PRO it does work in princle. it stops a lot of noice. keep the house warmer. and keeps it cooler in the summer…..
CONS. it prevents air movement .as you know wood needs to breath. it cant breath if it full to the limit, it also is a casue of mold… if you think about it , if water got into your studs ,where would it go ? no where …. if you need to get acces to wires in the case of re wireing , this is hell to do.
as you can see the cons out do the pros
here my solution…. i would use rolled insulation, in one room at a time, as you can affford it , at least if you need to remove it at least you can
