how can i remove foam insulation from my hands?

    I hope your shingles never leak. If they ever do, you would not know until your roof deck was completely rotten. The cost to remove the decking will be much more because of the effort required to remove it.

    Also, I hope you do not have children because the science behind the time it takes the foam to completely cure and “off gas” the VOCs that are in the chemicals is not conclusive.

    YOU HAVE BEEN LIED TO REGARDING ROOFING VENTILATION. ONLY ELK SHINGLES RETAIN THEIR WARRANTY WITH THIS FOAM.

    my attic was insulated by a company called apply-tek in laredo texas and they sprayed about 6″ of the same open cell foam and you could not see any studs on top of the roof…..on your video i can see almost hallf of the studs i think you were short handed unless they are 2×8 even on your walls i see part of the studs. that is were heat sips thru …… my attic is not even sligthly tolerable even on 100 F outside…………….

    I just had my attic sprayed in a similar way with icyenene foam insulation, and they installed rafter mate through vents from the soffit to about 6″ to the ridge vent to allow airflow between the two. Then sprayed over the vents. I’m very surprised that they do not allow for or require any ventilation here.

    If you are looking for a company in Delaware County, I used All Green and Lean who are located in Clifton Heights. They spray both open and closed cell foam.
