Does anyone know if "Great Stuff" spray foam insulation is ok to put around copper heating pipes?

what I’m trying to do here is fill a void where a heating pipe comes in. There is a lot of cold air coming from the same void.
No. The chemicals that are in it will evenly corroded the copper pipes.

Great Stuff expands "greatly" , were you thinking of insulating your pipes with it, or just a spray or two to keep the pipes from rattling when water runs through? It is safe to use if that is your question; otherwise, you need a solid surface for it to cling to the outer edges or it will just fall to the floor or ground and you will lose most of it.

not a problem, however, you will lose access to these pipes. If anything needs to be done, you do develop a leak somewhere, you will have to chip and scrape until all of the insulation is off in order to make the repair (if a plumber does it it will definitely not be cheap). Stick with the standard pipe wrap (highest R-value you can find) and avoid making any costly mistakes.
Side note: Great Stuff Yellow Can expands greatly (open cell foam). Great Stuff blue can expands a little (closed cell foam)
