On finding foam yourself – Home Depot, Rona, or most well stocked building supply stores:

The pink stuff is called – FOAMULAR® Rigid FoamFoam Insulation (made by Owens Corning).
Also called – Cel-Lok® Rigid Extruded Polystyrene

The blue stuff is called – STYROSPAN™ extruded polystyrene insulation (made by DOW).

Over in the UK:
The yellow type is called – Polyfoam XPS (Site Survivor™) extruded polystyrene insulation
(made by knauf-insulation)

also look for Celotex

Some one commented on where to find it over there but I can’t find it right now.

Det finns på dom flesta byggvaruhusen. 2 som jag bekräftat har det (har köpt därifrån) är Coop Bygg (blåa varianten) och Bauhaus (oranga varianten). Finns vid “isolerings-avdelningen”, dom har ofta vanlig frigolit där också.

    Discovered though that some places, Europe, California, Tuktoyaktuk, etc. just don’t have it.

    Lots of newbies say, “My Dad say’s that I can’t have any. He say’s it is dangerous.” ?!?! nyuk nyuk

    I’ve got a heck of a rant about that in one vid. They must be smokers and keep getting the foam bits on their smokes. If I can edit some of the coarser language out of it I’ll post it.

    man tell ur people to go to hardware type stores. they have it most of the time but it is in a section u cant get to (like out back or up on top of a shelf where they need a forklift to get it down) here where i live one out of three lowes has it. meaning not each store will carry it but if u ask they will tell u which store to go to. or just go where they are building houses and ask where they buy it and if ur nice they will let u raid their stash or their trash pile for FREE

    Weldbond in the gallon jug should be around $30 plus/minus $5. Any large hardware or building supply store should have it.

    If you’re working on outdoor houses check out the PL type glues that come in a caulking tube. Tough and paintable.
    I’ve been using one called PL Premium Polyurethane Wood Glue.
