RC Flying Nutball Fun- RC soccer

This is my 3rd flight after working out the CG and trimming out this plane properly. It was originally designed by goldguy and here is the link to his build blog:

I just looked at some of the pictures and cut out a 24 inch disc, then tried to copy some of the features by memory from what I saw in the blog photos. This plane was virtually free for me because I had a 2208 brushless motor, 25 amp speed control, 2 servos, and leftover Home Depot insulation foam and foamboard scraps laying around. the control horns were cut from an old credit card and pushrods were from a 3d plane kit that were extras. I was worried that all the leftover stuff I had would make this plane too heavy and that the motor was too fast, but when I tossed it up I realized that it would become one of my all time favorites. the only thing I had to purchase was the 8×3.8 apc slow flyer prop from my local hobby shop. I use a 1500 mA 3 cell battery and it can go for probably 15-20 minutes of flying but I only fly for about 7-8 minutes since my attention span can’t go more than that. I suggest trying to build this plane since it’s so easy to build and fly (and I’m a beginner at both).
